Supported vendors

Short answer: StackTether connects to two PSAs today, Kaseya BMS and Autotask, with read-only tools. ConnectWise PSA, HaloPSA, NinjaOne and Datto RMM are being built next. Each vendor page explains how to create a dedicated, read-only API user, with links to the vendor's own documentation.

The Connections page in the portal also shows tabs for categories that are planned but not open yet (RMM, Security, Backup, Mail, Microsoft 365 / Identity, Documentation, Network, Distribution, Security training, Phone / VoIP). Those tabs only list planned vendors; there is nothing to fill in until a category goes live.

How each connection works

  • An admin creates one API user in the vendor's system, used by StackTether only.
  • The admin enters it on Connections. StackTether tests it and saves it encrypted only if the test passes. Saved credentials are never shown again.
  • An admin turns on access to the connection per person. Nobody gets it automatically.
  • Tool names are the same for every vendor (for example psa_search_tickets), so prompts keep working if you change PSA. See Tools reference.
